Post PO to post directly to a Profit center

Hi All,

We need to be able to setup PO to post directly to a Profit center, can an Account Assignment for Profit Center be added to configuration in order to accomplish this?

Hello Zulfikar,

If you are trying to post expenses to profit center, definitely you have to change the screen layout of account assignment categoryin PO and use accordingly.

If it is a inventory related posting, profit center will be defaulted from the material master automatically, no need to enter

Our Business requirement would be for Demurge charges that shouldn't be assigned to a cost center as they relate solely to a product. We would like to be able to setup a PO and charge directly a COGS account and a profit center.

But is it pratical to post to profit center directly. Would there be any further issues in this scenario?

Hi,

Pls try creating a PO without any acc assignment category.

Ssytem will by default post to the material master profit center.
