hi,

I think you creating a sales order with reference to a PO number of the customer and when you have entered a line item and qty and pressed enter may be you are getting this message. If yes, check the item category which you are trying use in the sales order.

Mostly this item category was not configured in the item. cat. determination at VOV4.
