we have already standard data transfer programs for master data

we have already standard data transfer programs for master data like material, customer, vendor, sales order data (direct output method).

then why we go for bdc call transaction/ session method?

    Hi

    Standard programs are provided by SAP but in our requirment we may not need that program.Example consider the program RMDATIND (Materil Master ) this program will support all views in MM01 but our requirement is to handle one view then why to this program and there may be case some fields will be available in standard prgram in this case we go for BDC.

    Genarlly this standard programs are used for LSMW method. LSMW is mainly used for one time upload.

      and one more doubt is:

      what is the difference between lsmw with recording method and bdc call transaction / session method in the case of following:

      uploading the data for material master for 2 views.

      plz reply for which one is gud both of them above mentioned?
