As happens with Crystal for Visual Studio 2010 every so often it lapses into showing the reports as hexadecimal. The usual remedy is:
Uninstall CR for VS
Uninstall CR runtime
Remove the Flexera Software manager
Install CR for VS using public_FNC+XForm.exe
Reinstall CR runtime
I've tried this to no avail, I've even uninstalled my own package which uses the CR msm
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling VC++ 2005 runtime as I know CR is sensitive to this and is not included in the msm.
Also I've tried clearing the temp folder.
