Personnal Actions simple details function

Hi expert,

My name is Reynaldy, i just learn about SAP HR (1 week actually) and i have simple questions.

What personnel action function? there are Action type and reason for action there. I know action type is for status indicator employee, but i still have no idea personnel action block function.

So, can you give me simple and detail explanation?
