Assets

Hi SAP Wizards,

One of our users has a ton of investment orders that settled in December that should not have. The only thing that was done differently was the user tried to settle once with a Full Settlement rather than an Automatic Settlement. In this case, if an order is still in the "Release Mode", but has a Settlement Rule to go to an Asset, does this transfer from AUC to Assets?

I believe it is mandatory for technical reasons, to settle the $0.00 balance value for an asset ! If you don't do that, you can't close the Asset fiscal year 2007 correctly.

In the case of an Investment Order do you have to settle the $ values on an asset?

Please advice if these steps are the correct way of reversing this transaction:

1. Change the Order status from Closed, to Completed

Transaction KO02, Sheet Control Data,

2. Modify the settlement rule on the Fixed Asset from 0% to 100%

Transaction KO02

3. Execute the Settlement, by using transaction KO88, for the period 12/2007, Processing type Full Settlement

4. Then change the Order status from Completed to Closed.

After that you can re-execute again KO8G (collective transaction) or KO88 (individual transaction).

Thanks

Malaika R.
