issue related to availability check

Dear expert,

i have issue related to availability check the system is giving

message while creating order when i see availability in sales order.below message.

"No control data maintained for checking group ZA

And checking rule AE"

but in material master (MRP-3) view checking group is

maintained is" 02"

i also ckeck

Define Checking Groups Default Value Tcode OVZ3

checking group is different (ZA checking group is not maintain)

if suppose it create order with same (document type,same sales area,same item category of material and same schedule line cat.)with different material number it show

the availabily in sales order.

why this error is occuring for this material i dont know please suggest

Hi Nisha,

While creating sales order...system fetches the availablity check(checking grp) from material master...based on this availbiltity check...checking rule is fetched based on sales order and business process (e.g consignment, inter etc)...if i take standard simple sales order then it could be 02 and A or 01 and A....

Now pls check the Availability check in material master sales/plant view and MRP view..for both material (material with which it worked and for material for which it didnt)...i hope u will be able to find the solution

Dear nisha

Follow the IMG path. Sales and Distribution --> Basic Functions --> Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements --> Availability Check --> Define Checking Groups Default Value.

Here check whether you have maintained the required data for the combination of Material Type / Plant / Availability Check. Most probably, you would not have maintained.
