internal order year end closing

Hi All

We are trying to perform internal order year end closing.

in budget profile (okob) we have selected total values and annual values.

Please let us know how this happens, whether we need to perform KOCO and KOCF as well.

does it happens for all the orders in all company codes.

is it possible to perform for specific orders in company code.

useful answers will be rewarded with points

Regards

Prasad

Hi Prasad,

the idea of carryforward of commitments and budgets is to update

the affected database tables with the new fiscal year.

For budgeting for example this means that unused budget of this

year is available next year. This has indeed a consequence if

You have availability control which checks ANNUAL budget values.

If You have an overall budget availability check then KOCO is

actually not afforded. This is set in the budget profile.

....

Concerning commitments in KOCF: this is actually only relevant

for the totals table COSP and line items table COOI

which holds the summarized values / line items for

commitments. Here the program will update the fiscal year field

to current +1 which then is relevant for reporting and availability

control.

You can run both transactions with selection variants giving You

the possibility to restrict to single objects (order number).

However it is useful to process it for all from my experience.

Greetings
