How to implement Export to Excel functionality in custom BO Thing Inspector tab

Hello Experts ,

I have C4C requirement wherein in a custom BO that has header and items nodes, we need to download the list of items in an excel . This functionality is similar to "Export To Excel Functionality " in Territory TI on Account Tab .

When I checked how the action event is implemented in OWL or Standard Territory TI (Account Tab) I can see it refers to Operation "DocumentOutput" and then in the operation setting a Group ID field is set from drop down list values.

I am unable to get how I can generate/create the group id for my custom Item node . Please help .
