We are trying to run collective availability check (MDVP) for planned orders, but, unfortunately it is functioning in a rather strange manner. The availability check is assigning the same available quantity of a components to multiple orders. For example 10 units of component x is used in making material A, x has a stock of 10 units only, and no other receipts. There are 9 planned orders for A i.e. 90 units of x should be required to satisfy the requirement, however, the availability check is using that same stock of 10 units and assigning to all the 9 order and marks them as 100% committed. I hope my example is clear. Do let me know if any clarification is needed, I would appreciate your inputs.
