Hi Time Experts:
Please check the below scenario:
Workings days: Monday to Saturday
Weekly Off: Sunday
Here, the issue is if an employee applies for a CL on Saturday and Monday separately then the system by default consider the Sunday (ie Day Off falling in between the two CL's) should be considered as CL in the IT2001.
Please explain me how this can be done?
Should i make any changes to the counting rule?
Thanks and regards,
Srikanth

. it is not possible to accomplish ur requirement through customising. this has to be done using user exits.

Hi Manohar:
yes, it could be creating two records (or) creating a single record at a stretch including the dayoff.
So, when a user already created Absece on saturday and again tries to create a Absence record on monday, then the system should by default consider the day off as an Absence (and the system should warn the user to consider the dayoff for absence in such a scenario).
And i tried doing as per your suggestion, but it not producing the result. I'm still able to save the record individually for Sat and Mon, excluding dayoff.
Anyone who came across such a requirement earlier pls advice the solution.

Hi Manohar:
First, I would create record on Saturday and then later when i create record on Monday then system by default should warn the user to create a Absence record (CL) for Sunday as well. User should not be able to create Absence records for Monday if Sunday is not included in this case.
Hope you understood the requirement.
