Expert Mode in table matainance generaator??

Hi

Plz tell me abt the epert mode of MG.

if i make it,than my MG will keep working if in future new fileds are added or deleted or changed frm my table or,every time i hv a make anew MG.

Plz tell me if i specify the MG in expert mode,it will take care of all changes,deletion & addition of fileds or not?

u find maintenance screen check for maintenance type click one step method then u can set expert mode in table maintenance generator

Hi,

The table maintenence generator creates a function module and screens to work with the data in the table. The expert mode is available when you need to regenerate this function module and screens (usually because the structure of the table has been changed). The expert mode gives you more specific options around what is regenerated, to allow you to avoid losing any manual changes you may have made to the original objects.

In reality I find little occasion to use the expert mode, the standard options are generally enough to regenerate the maintenance screens.
