Receicer IDOC monitoring

Hi All,

I got the scenario like JDBC to IDOC scenario.

The message successfully came from Database and in XI also it is successfull in SXMB_MONI. but when check in sap system we05 there is nothing for that day.

can anyone tell me if the message successfull in sxmb_moni. after that what transactions must i check in SAP.

can anyone tell me the monitoring steps from XI to SAP in receiver IDOC scenario.

check transaction IDX5 in XI. That lists all inbound/outbound IDocs

Hi,

See the transaction WE02 in the receiver system. If IDoc is not seen there, check SM58 in XI and see if the IDoc is struck there.

Hi Kiran,

Create a RFC destination in XI to Receiver system.

Create a port in XI in transaction IDX1 using the above RFC destination.

Create a port in the receiver system in the WE21 transaction.

Create a partner profile in WE20 in the receiver system

To monitor, see sxmb_moni, IDX5 and SM58 in XI.

In the receiver system, you can see WE02 or WE05 for the IDoc.

Hi all,

I found the following error in SM58 in XI system.

"Error when opening RFC connection"

Can any one please tell me how can i restart this message.

Check the details in the RFC Connection.

then resend the failed idoc via SXMB_MONI.

Hi Kiran,

Check the RFC destination... from SM59 do following:

open the RFC destination and test connection and then remote login... if suscessfull

then restart the message from SXMB_MONI by selecting the message

Hi all,

in sxmb_moni it is checked flag, and sm58 i goot the error like "error when opening rfc connection". how can i restrat the message.

Once you sort out the SM59 connection, you can Execute the LUW via SM58 which will process the message.

Select Entry in Error and Press F6, or Edit - Execute LUW.

First you test the RFC connection in SM59. If it is failing check wheter the user and password in RFC destination is same as R/3 system.
