Screen on execution differs from its layout in se80

I have a TCODE, which on execution shows me a screen with few labels and textboxes. When I go to "System->Status" and find out the program name and screen number, and when i go in that following program and see that particular screen's layout, i see that the caption of the labels differ from that shown on the screen during execution. What does this mean? I am totally confused on this, as i need to work on the screen and do some modifications. Please enlighten me.
