Calculate across IBP versions

Within our sales forecasting solution we have identified the baseline version for the active/current forecast cycle. A seperate IBP version, called P-1 is in place dat presents the forecast details of the earlier forecasting cycle (key figures forecast volume volume and net sales price).

For analysing purposes we would like to calculate accross the versions. For instance we would like to compare the sales volume baseline with the sales volume P-1 and calculate all kind of variances with this. Does anyone has a tip how to calculate within the key figure model across versions.

Hi,

This is cannot be done using configuration. A key figure can either be baseline specific or version specific within a version.

However, You can try creating a local member in excel to define calculation for sales volume by selecting baseline and P-1 version.

In case you feel this to be a valid requirement, you can use SAP influence channel to give feature enhancement request(see SAP note 2479068)
