Added new field from RSA6

I added a field to the datasource structure from RSA5 and RSA6.

I replicated the source system.

Would I have to delete the InfoSources and reassign the datasource to see the new field appear in the transfer rules?

Is there a way to see the new field to show automatically after the replication in the transfer rules?

Hi go back to rsa6 look for the datasource you enriched clic on the pencil to modify it and quite the flag "hide filed" on the added field level.

After that when you replicate if you are in bw3.x go to the datasource/transfer structure tab on look for your field and pass it to the other side.

hope this helps

Hi Yosemite,

If you can't you find your new field in the extractor from RSA6 and 'Change DataSource', then check the following:

1. Goto SE16 and enter 'ROOSFIELD' in the table name

2. Enter your DataSource name in the 'OLTPSOURCE' and 'A' for the OBJVERS.

3. Check the 'Selection' field value. If it is 'A' (Hidden by SAP) then Change it to 'P'. Then you should be able to see the new field in the Extractor.

Thanks,

Venkat.
