Points Loophole - Please Fix

There is a glaringly obvious problem with the point system.

Now I treat it like GOLF where if you even think of "cheating" you know the only person you are cheating is yourself. However unfortunately not everybody takes the ethics of Golf as their model.

By having 2 user ID's one can ask a question and then using the 2nd userid answer it and award points.

Using IP adresses to check this doesn't work either as people can logon from a variety of places / locations.

I know most people are intrinsically honest and will respect the point system but as always there are numbers of abusers.

The point system is a great way of helping other SAP users out there and it's nice to know if your answers have been helpful to others as we all had to start somewhere.

I'm not sure of the solution but I think it does need a fix.

Cheers

Jimbo

We are quite aware of this and having been very harsh for the numerous people who have attempted to abuse this.

Please see the following threads regarding point hunting.

Once it is brought to notice of Moderators or Community Team necessary action is taking (including deletion of both ids from the backend side).
