How to handle disk space issues in business objects server

Hi Team,

Our business objects servers are having disk space issues. We need to free up disk space. Apart from increasing the disk space or drives, can get some suggestions in handling this type of issues. Can we delete the data from Logging folder related to previous years data. Do we have any specific files like GLF, Text document etc which can be deleted. Or can we move some part of the data from Logging folder to some other share location. Apart from Logging folder, any other suggestions. Please help us in providing the information,

We are in SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 5 Patch 2 in our server.

Manasa.

If you have large files in logging folder and no active issues for which you need traces to analyze - simply disable tracing.
Select none for trace level for each BOE service in CMC.

Yes, you can delete everything in /logging folder.

As to other directories - you need to monitor which directories are growing and deal with it on individual basis. there are many tools that allow to monitor disk usage and show which directories are consuming most of the space. Simply google.
