Hi all,

does someone knows, what the clients counter means in the PD Proxy logfile? It's getting bigger and bigger after each reboot of the Prosy Server. And when it reaches ~70, we have always an performance issue.... and no, we don't have 63 PD Clients....

Proxy server is multi threading application. Each thread is a client. Each client shares resource and memory with others. When the thread number reach to certain level, the server performance suffers.

You need make sure proxy server gets enough memory. Also upgrade to the latest release as soon as possible. There are a lot of fixes and

improvement in the new release.

I have raised an official defect for this, as this is a no-go. One of our clinets is facing heavy performance issuer every few weeks, when the counter reaches 60-70.

Can you provide one issue number/CR#, related to this problem and deployed within SP02, SP03 or SP04... as I can't find any?

We can't upgrade simply like this... we need a good reason (a confirmation of a bugfix or something like this) to get a permission for an upgrade.
