Hi All,

We couldn't plan key figures type Number or Integer ( meaning without currency/unit of measure ) with BI-IP. Is it possible ? If yes, what are we missing?

The issue may be with your aggregation level and /or the query itself.

Make sure the query is most detailed and carry inly single values.

We can create a planning layout with Bex Analyzer. We input data but when we check or save values, data disappears, and data is not saved to Infocube. There is no error nor warning message.

Hi,

Do you see a blue border around the cells you want to be input-ready? This seems like a problem with your input query - its not input ready. This is what happens in such cases - when you enter figures in non input-ready cells and press enter, they disappear.

Please check this forum for threads on problem with input queries. You will get a lot of pointers to problems with input queries.

Hi Mayank,

When we add another key figure (type amount) as a second column next to previous key figure (without currency / unit of measure) with same restrictions we were able to plan and save data for this new key figure. But we still cannot plan the previous one.

Thanks,

Do you see a blue border around the cells for this numeric key figure? It must be coming for the amount key figure which you are able to plan?

Please check the calculation property for this key figure in query designer - it should be set to (standard value) or total.

You can definitely plan on such key figures... what is the problem you are facing? Please describe it. Any error messages?
