Hi,
Are there any major differences between 1503 and 1605 with respect to simplification in the context of custom code changes? I understand there is no Simplification DB like it is available in 1610.
Note: 1976487 is quite detailed - but it doesn't specifically call out 1605, rather 1503.
joerg.wolf any pointers would be helpful

Hi John,
you are right, there is no simplification DB. Have you checked the Release information Note:In general there is a difference from the technical point of view:
With 1605 there comes e.g. Transfer Pricing, multi currency, new enhanced FIORI applications, new functionalities for Central Finance, CashMmgt and Hedge Accounting according to IFRS9.
May I ask what the trigger for this question is? In general we always recommend to go to the Latest S/4HANA OP Version (which is 1709 at the moment) to stay on track with the latest innovations.
Best regards
Michael Buchmann
