What is the future of SAP Functional Consultant?

Helo All.

Can anyone guide me regarding the future of SAP Functional consultants in the wake of impending technologies such as eSOA, Netweaver?

How these new technologies will change dynamics of job market for functional consultants especially MM and SD?

What new skills will be required by functional consultants?

Regards.

Hello Anay. The future is [here|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/bpx]. Take a good look at the getting started area for the evolution of functional consutants to: business process consultants, business process analysts. Good descriptions of what a BPX role or roles look like.

    • And a small tip about the forums here (or two tips). Use of search is recommended, you would have found others asking same or similar query.

Also please post your questions only once (in one forum). If you aren't sure which one that should be, search...and that will give you some idea as to where others have posted like questions. It might even save you from writing your new one.
