As per my understanding by default in Prod Order the SL for raw material coming is Y but you want it should be X.

For this you have also to check in material master what SL you have maintaind in Issue SL field and also check in the work center what SL you have maintained for the suplly area.

Maintain all these places SL as X and after then again recretae the Prod order.

    Tony,

Can you please let us know whether Stock Determination configuration is used in your system? You can check in the material master MRP2 view whether stock determination group is assigned, If yes remove that and try.

You can check the stock determination stuff in transaction "OPJ2".

    Regards,

    Hi,

check the assignment of material to storage location in master data in transaction data such as MM02,MMSC....

and also for avalability check setting for perticular storage location.

    reward points if useful

    Dear Tony

Such situation should not happen. As you are maintaining st. loc. X at BOM component level it should come in production order. And as you r telling st.loc Y is coming in prod. ord.

Please tell me from where it is coming? I.e. Where sto. loc. Y is mentioned?
