Stacking factor in SAP?

Hi there

I need to investigate regarding our storage issues if stacking factor can be defined in SAP?

Which transactions to use to see the stacking factor (at this point of time there should not be anything registered)?

In which transactions can they be registered and maintained?

Will they appear visible in Material Master (MM03) or somewhere else?

Google has quite many different meanings of "stacking factor"

And if I restrict Google to search in the SAP domain, then I still have some different meanings, and certainly some different areas (APO, EWM, IS-BEV) than those that you had chosen as tags for your question.

Maybe it would be better to explain what this stacking factor is for you and especially you should explain your issues if you need help on them.

I did not come across this term in core ERP system and its LE module, and also not in the material master.

We were considering if stacking factor can be defined in SAP to our materials that our stacked in our Warehouse. It will definitely help us in calculations related to square meters availability etc.

I found out that QuickViewer transaction has the input called Stacking factor (Meaning it can be defined in SAP) but where? 🙂
