You should check out the SAP help portal : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/43/0c014016cd2bc4e10000000a114cbd/frameset.htm

For BPS check out the "Business Planning and Simulation (BW-BPS)" section. BPS used to be delivered with SEM, but now the engine is delivered with SAP NetWeaver BI and SEM provides financial content.

iF you have sound knowledge in Java or Abap go for SAP NW Development Studio

Or if you dont have Sound knoledge in Programing go for SAP EP that too you should know new technologies like CE7.1
