Changing the Quant date beyond Last movement date in LS22

Hi Gurus

Can I change the quant date in LS22 beyond the Last movement date. I mean I want to change the date to 11/01/2017 when the last movement date is 10/25/2017. Are there any implications if I do that.

I am referring to changing the Goods Receipt date.

The rationale is sometimes our TO creation program is not picking a specific SU as per the FIFO strategy.

The users are cycle counting it and the program is picking it and creating TO.

We need to investigate why it is not picking a specific SU.

Meanwhile, I want to try changing the GR date in LS22 instead of cycle count to see if the program picks it.

A quant (table LQUA) has 7 different date fields, you have to be more specific about which field you are talking.

It would also be good to explain the rational behind this request, as there might be other solutions
