Vendor master

Hi

I want to know what all excise (CIN) details has to be entered in vendor master and material master? I am cofiguring CIn for capital goods. I read thatyou ve to assign a user to access material master screen sequence for excise details. I asigned IN , but not happening. pls tell me more on master entries and settings on excise perspective.

hi,

J1Id is the Tc where u can maintain both vendor and material - cin related data.

detaisl are

1. chapter id & assign the duty rates(material master or J1id)

2. vendor excise details like ECC, excise indiactor, sales tax...(vendor master cin tab or J1ID)

just check J1id TC and go on each step, it is self explanatory
