Regarding GR

Dear Guru's,

While doing G.R ,one error is coming"shortfall of 1 DAY against remaining shelf life ".In material master the total shelf life is maintained as 365 days.

pls suggest me wat to do

Dear Cherukuri,

This means at the time of GR the expiry date which you are entering must be on 364 day.You remaining shelf life is 365 days as per MM record.Hence it is giving error message as shortfall of 1 day.

Your product expiry date at the time of GR must be more than 365 days at any point of time.

This will solve your problem.Reward suitably.

i am not clear ,now if i give prodution date as 10.01.2008 it was accepting..can i do that one..

this problem is not due to expiry date..this is occuring due to the date entering in the field date of manufacturing

Before going ahead with this check in the material master

plant/storage location view and correct the data in shelf life data section

document date is 2days date and for the production date also i am giving the current date,then this error is appearing
