Viewing Archived Workflows

Hi People,

Once I archive workflows and work items, is there any way I can see them through the normal transactions like SWI6, SWIA etc. Or can I read them only through SARA transaction?

Hello,

Reading archived workitems is not very user-friendly. What some companies do is to capture the approval information in a PDF file or HTLM file and attach that to the associated transaction/document. Then, the workitems are archived or deleted.

Hi,

As per the normal archiving procedure after archiving the workflow item we generally run a delete program to delete the archived workitem from system. Hence it will not be possible to find them using SWi1, SWi6 or any other reports for workitems.

However you can access the archive workitem using SWW_ARCHIV transaction.
