Deleting self-component using Refurbishment Work Order

Hi,

We are successfully using the refurbishment work order processes.

I am now investigating to use the same in order to refurbish a part A in order to optain part B. This is easier than a production order.

However in doing so, one would create a W/O for part B (finish product). This will automatically create a component requirement for part B and a reservation. However part B is not required. The line is grayed out and can not be deleted. How does one delete the component?

Thank you.

Hi,

We are using Refurbishment Work Order in order to be able to receive a material into inventory. In addition, we need to be able to settle all costs to inventory to adjust MAP.

I would also like more info on your reply to better understand.

Thank you.

Why not create Work Order logically with reference to PIR or Dependent Requirement?
