Hi all,
I have a question about configuring output determination for interfaces I'm hoping someone can help me with.
My first question:
Does anyone know of a good source (e.g. cookbook) that could explain a bit more about configuring output determination for Interfaces or just in general?
Second Question:
What are the exact steps I have to take to configure a new output type in IMG to send 'orders' via an interface?
Many thanks,
Dharm

Hi Mann,
Please go through this IMG path it will help you to determine new output type, Path is
IMG -->Sales &Distribution -->Basic functions >Output control>Output determination -->Output determination using condition technique -->Maintain output determination for sales documents --> Maintain output type.
After maintaining the new output type you select the output type go in to details there you can enter what is the inter face you are going to maintain as Medium and the program, form for that output type.
I hope it will help you
Regards,
Murali.

The path mentioned in the earlier post or the transaction code NACE will help you to understand the configuratino of outputs.
If you want to do outputs for interfaces where you want some other things to be updated then IDOCs is one of the most used ways. IDOCs can be triggered through output types. You can refer to the links below, which can give you a basic understanding of IDOCs and outputs.
