URL truncated in PDF attachment

150 Views

Does anyone have this problem about the URL in PDF attachment.

I generate an order confirmation letter via SapScript and send email to receipient as an attachment in PDF (nacha-medium = 5). On the confirmation letter I write a URL address. When I open the attachment via Adobe Reader 7 and click on the URL, it will bring me to the link. However when the URL is too long, it does not work. Does any one know how?

If I just create a PDF document within ADOBE then it works fine.

Example: I have this URL address in my PDF document attached to the email.

http://www.embassysuites.com/en/es/hotels/index.jhtml;jsessionid=MSJGXFRZDHNYQCSGBIYMVCQKIYFCXUUC?ctyhocn=WASOTES

When I open the attachment and click on the URL, it bring me to the address

http://www.embassysuites.com/en/es/hotels/index.jhtml;

and saying not found. Look like the link after the word 'jhtml;' is cut off.

But if I create the PDF from Adobe, save it and send email to myself then it works fine.
