DB02 ->Detailed anaysis

Good afternoon

I am trying to anylize DB02 Space statistics. Please assist with the following?

Why is the total size (kbyte) of a type "Index Parti" a total of "0' , while the 'Chg/day' size is for instance 1066. The table name in this case is: "DB02: /BIC/FDFM_REPL0000000023 "

Should the total size not be = or > than the daily change?

Hi,

well, this is a partitioned index which has been created updated sometime ago and which is now deleted since it doesn't occupy space...

For instance assume one table partitioned on one field (CALMONTH). And partitioned index is created on CALMONTH and the table has data for 200701 and 200702. The index partitions would also occupy space. now you delete the data for 200702 in your table; the index partition for 200702 is now empty....
