Images missing in ESS Webdynpro error messages

Hi all,

When error or warning messages occur in Web Dynpro applications in our Portal, it does not show the correct images. In stead it shows the familiar red cross of Internet Explorer. How can we solve this? Please see screenshot:

hi,

Check the URL of the image by right clicking on the arrow, and paste it in browser. Let me know what you see.

Hi Jan,

Looks like some patch related issue. Kindly refer to Note 758029 and below links.

I checked on my system, I don't find any CSF folder inside

installdrive>:usrsapJ2EJC00j2eeclusterserver0 empwebdynprowebsap.com c_wddispwdaglobal.

My server is on EP 7.0 SP-10, and all the images correctly point to the SSR folder.

I believe in your case also there is no CSF folder in above mentioned directory.

Hello Jan,

It is not the patch Issue.

The service which you are trying to access is already being processed and used by some other user called "CBALLEMANS" and it is locked.

Ask that guy to logff from portal and you will be able to access the service.

But this warning itselfs relates to service locked.

If this service is released, he will be able to view the image and will be able to access this application/service.

Hi Anil,

Just have a look at the screen shots attached by him. He is talking about the warning icon a yellow triangle that comes, and he is talking about all the webdynpro applications.

The URL that he is getting points to that warning icon.
