How to add the costs to existing standard cost estimate

I heard that we can add the amounts to existing standard cost estimate through Additive Costs. For the additive costs does we have to prepare new costing sheet and cost component structure. Please guide me on this one with one example

use ck74n ,wherein u need to enter the item category (material or activity) .

for eg.

enter m and material no ,against that enter the value which u want to add(such as freight cost).

in the costing variant u need to activate

1.include additive cost

2.in the valuation variant -u need to activate the flag.
