In every xi project we would be creating interfaces for transferring the message depending on the client requirement. But finally when can we say that the project is complete.

Hi,

Normally the project lifecycle is as follows:

1) Development server:

All the development activities will be done with the client requirements

Once object is developed then testing is done.

Once sucessful testing is done the object is transported to QA server.

2) QA server:

Again the rigourous testing will happen

3) Preproduction Server:

testing will happen with the real test data once that is done properly

4) The whole development is trasponrted to Production server from Prprod server and that is called as Project Go live.

During the Go live phase bug fixing and change requrest comes and will be handled by the support team which support the project.

Thats the lifecycle of XI project.

When every thing is done and working fine (after testing) and moved to porduction system, then we say it is go-live of the project and that means we are finish/accomplished the goal.

Hi,

First u will develop ur senario in DEV system,so first u will test it with some sample data,then onsite coordenators will test in DEV system,after that it will be transported to QA system there some testers will test it,if every thing goes fine then atlast the object will be transported to PRD system there they will test with live data,if it work fine then ur object finished like that if u have 50 objects,then all should go throught this process and atlast project will be Finished.
