Handling of partial components rejected by the Subcontractor

Hi,

We have done the transfer posting of components for a Subcontractor against a Subcont. PO, Later Subcontractor complaints to replace few qty of one of the line item's components. Ofcourse we get back his rejected qty by 542 movt type and reissue thru 541, but how to handle subcontract challan and its related etc..?

Regards,

Sattuj

while reciving back the component u have to adjust ur inventory and excise books.

as u have already did the MIGO-542, same has to be updated in J1IFQ OR J1IF01-CHANGE the qty.

firast check if u have entry in

tax on good mov india business transaction --subcontracting --Maintain Movement Type Groups

    0002 542 O

Say u have sebd the sub contracting challand 12345 no

then take back the material from venfdor ny 542 movement type in MB1B

say 49000015 doc nymber is generated

now go to t code J1ifq

put the mater doc nu 49000015

    year 2007

    year challane nu

    2007 12345

    excute

and put the qty in assigned qty

and then follow the same process for sending the material by 541

    hope this helps
