Maintenance status

I want to change the Maintenance status of the Standard SAP field from material master MARA-IPKRZ from L to Q using field selection group settings, the problem is that the field is blocked for any update since it is a standard SAP field and not customized.

Can anybody give me an idea how can I change the maintenance status from L to Q inorder to fulfil my requirement

I want to change the maintenance status that is in the field selection group settings, I dont think your suggestion would solve the problem as I am trying to add some fields with maintenance status L into the material master view with maintenance status Q.

I get this error " Maintenance status of field MARA-BEHVO does not correspond to the status os screen Q".

Try MARA-BEHVO(Container requirements) its the same issue with that field I wanna change the status from L to Q using field selection group

the problem with this isbecause of the feild selection for material type you need to make this feild as optional or required, if you see in SPROLogistic generalmaterial master -- feild selection--mantain feild selection for data screen yo will get the feild refrence in that you select your feild refrence this you can get in the material type defination for ex : for material type ROH the feild refrence is ROH. if you cahnge in the mantain feild selection and make the necessary feild as optional or required then your problem will be solved

Can you let me know what is the field description for MARA-IPKRZ? if you can tell me this i wcan help you out as i am unable to see such field in MARA
