Activating New GL in ECC 5.0

Hello

I get the following error while trying to activate New GL in ECC 5.0 (IDES)

"View/table V_FAGL_ACTIVEC can only be displayed and maintained with

restrictions"

I would appreciate if somebody would help to fix this problem.

when you enter KE52 is your program name SAPLRKPM and screen number 0300 ?

do you have theb segment field now available in transaction KE51 / KE52 ?

For all new creations if profitcenters you can assign the segment there. For 'old' profitcenters write a short ABAP report to update table CEPC of the respective profitcenter. There is no standard means to update profitcenter master data subsequently with segment data.

I don't have a field in KE52 basic data screen so that I can enter a segment while creating a profit center.

Thank you for the rely. That is what I guessed since there is Financial Accounting(new) in IMG.

But how to get segment field in Profit Center Basic Data tab like in ECC 6.0.

It is available in enterprise structure.

IMG-Enterprise Structure- Financial accounting

Once you define the segment here, it will be available for assignment in PC

Thank you for the reply. There is Segment in Table CEPC. I already created new segments. But how can I get that field on basic data screen of profit center.(KE52)
