Communication Channels are not displayed

Gurus,

I am not able see any communication channels in the RWB.

When I click the self test for "Are Communication Channels without errors?" I agetting the following response:

"0 communication channels have an error status0 communication channels inactive0 communication channels not providing any status information0 adapters logging communication-channel-independent processing errors "

Also, When I view thru filter with status all, "I am getting 0 communication channel found".

Kindly Advice.

Regards,

Siva

Hi Gurus,

Even after Cache refresh and system restart the issue still exists. From SXI_CACHE >Goto> ADAPTER Engine Cache, I am not able to see any adapters.

Hi,

There could be a problem of cache refresh or secondly it may be you have not imported SAP BASIS SWCV into IR.

Probabile Solution:

1. Go to ID and create one dummy CC and if you are able to select one of the adapter in the CC then 90% is sure that this is not a problem of Adapter metadata (SAP BASIS SWCV).

2. Refresh the cache by Tcode SXI_CACHE in XI. Chose full cache refresh from the menu.

3. Open the browser and do CPACacheRefresh by this url:

http://<server name>:<HTTP Port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

4. If proble still persist, then restart the server.

Hi,

If you have done with all, as mentioned above, then you should Re-start the Server.

I am sure your problem will be solved, coz as you said few days back you were able to see the adapters.

Hi,

Have you applied the BASIS and ABAP Content in the Integration Repository?

Importing the XI Content for Software Component Version SAP Basis 6.40 SR1

1. Copy XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_09_00.tpz from <Components DVD>/XI /XI_CONTENT to directory /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

2. On your SAP XI host, call transaction SXMB_IFR.

3. Choose Repository (Design).

4. Choose → Tools → Import Design Objects

2. Choose the file /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_09_00.tpz

5. Import the file.

Donwload the Content from service.sap.com/swdc

Browse through to Support Packages and Patches > SAP NetWeaver > SAP NETWEAVER > SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 (2004S) > Entry by Component > Content PI/XI

Donwload the verison of XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 7.00

Follow the steps.

I hope this might help you...

vasanth.

Make a full CPA cache refresh and then try again

http://<hostname>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
