Hi Folks,
I am creating an index on a ztable,will there be any extra measure to be taken while creating and moving this transport request to Quality and Production.

Hi Kiran,
You just need not worry about the transportation of the index to Quality and Production systems. This will be taken care by the Basis people who specify the transport path.Once you release the objects, they will take care of everything and no need to take any extra measures from your side.

Hi Kiran,
Secondary Index will go to Quality / Production as normal Request.
If you are creating this index on huge table (with huge data and large number of fields), it may take few hours to get activated in Target system.
If you have auto-scheduler for your transports make sure, you transport these indexes when there are few Transports going through as all other Requests will be Queued till your transport is not successful..
