have an issue with parking of the document.

Case : A document has been entered during the month of Dec 2007. This document has been approved in Jan 2008. However this document is not getting posted. This could be becasue of the year change as when we try to park the document doc number is already created. Could someone help me how to reolve this case ?

Hi

Use Transaction code MIR6

In the selection screen provide the input details as company code in Entry type select Held/Park in Invoice status select held if the document is held select Parked if the document is parked. than make the necessary changes in the Posting date. and save the Document.

I think this will resolve your issue.

I found the solution for this. If a document is parked for the past year and approved in the current year, this cannot be posted for the current year. Need to rework by creating a new document for the current year

Can you provide more info on the error.

What is the error message when you try to post the document?

Is the error pertaining to open/close period?

What do you mean by approved in jan 2008?
