user name change in batch job

Hi All,

I want to change the user name of the batch job. Manually changing from SM37 is taking lot of time since this particular job runs frequently(hourly and hence lot of entries to change).

Is there a way where we can change it once for all.

Hmmm, that's interesting, if it runs hourly and had been scheduled correctly, you would only need to change one job, the one which is currectly scheduled. Then when this job runs, it should spawn the next job as scheduled with the new user name.

Hi Heilman,

Thanx for the reply. Currently the job is in released status. If I change the user name of this job will it effect the next jobs permanently.

Pls help to resolve this issue.
