Unable to use the Purchase Organisation

Hi,

I created a Purchase Organisation("DPO") at Company Code level (not at plant"DGP" level).

During maintain source list i enter my pur org name "DPO" I get the error message "PURCHASING ORGANISATION DPO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANT DGP"

Is there anyway to use the same purchase organisation at plant level & company code level? Basically I want to use this Purchase Organisation for my Plant DGP.

the solution is just u need to assign the purchase orgainzation to the plant and u willbe able to the job

spro>img->ep->assignment->mm--->assign purch. org. to plant

In your case if your plant is defined for diff company code then the Pur org you assigned to company code then it will not work.

two work with more than one company code plant

you should not assign your pur org to company code but assign to plant so it can procure for all the company code plant

You only assigned the purchasing organisation to the company code, but you have to assign the purchasing organisation to the plant as well.

Go into IMG > Enterprise structure > Assignment > purchasing org plant asignment
