Automate SM02 Transaction

Hello All , I am looking to automate SM02 T code. Programming language i am using is Visual Basic. Is there any function module or report that can be used to set system message without going to SM02 transaction.

Hi,

I not in front of an SAP system, but if my memory serves me right you should take a look at function group SM02. I don't know if this function group is released or that it has the ability to set the message, most likely not, nonetheless, it is a starting point and this is all I can help with not in front of an SAP system.
