Shopping Cart not appearing in sourcing cockpit after the PO is deleted

Hi All

We are currently in SRM 5 version and have deployed Extended Classic scenario.

I am creating a Shopping cart. It goes to the sourcing cockpit for sourcing. In the sourcing cockpit, the SC is assigned a vendor and a PO is created. The PO is later deleted in the SRM system. However when the PO is deleted, the requirement doesnt come back to the sourcing cockpit. This happens because the vendor that was previously assigned to the SC in sourcing cockpit doesn't go and remains even after the PO is deleted and hence the SC is not considered as "Sourcing Relevant".

Can anyone please guide me with some suitable suggestions as to how to overcome this.
