Shopping Cart not appearing in sourcing cockpit after the PO is deleted

Hi All

We are currently in SRM 5 version and have deployed Extended Classic scenario.

I am creating a Shopping cart. It goes to the sourcing cockpit for sourcing. In the sourcing cockpit, the SC is assigned a vendor and a PO is created. The PO is later deleted in the SRM system. However when the PO is deleted, the requirement doesnt come back to the sourcing cockpit. This happens because the vendor that was previously assigned to the SC in sourcing cockpit doesn't go and remains even after the PO is deleted and hence the SC is not considered as "Sourcing Relevant".

Can anyone please guide me with some suitable suggestions as to how to overcome this.

Thanks In advance.

    Hi,

Strictly speaking from a business process flow point of view, we do not know what is the reason the PO is deleted even after it has been approved for example. Nonetheless, it is valid reason that the requirement is no longer needed and hence it should not appears in sourcing cockpit again.

Maybe you would like to study the standard program BBP_Z100_SOCO_RFQ_XPRA550 and copied the logic over for your follow-on PO document. This program is used to make requirement that has a follow-on bid invitation document (i.e. deleted) to re-appear in the sourcing cockpit. You need to check it for the follow-on PO and make the relevant sourcing indicator back to the requirement again.

    Regards.
