Material Extension.

HI,

At present material produced/procured by one plant is consumed directly by another plant without extending & transferrring that material. All this affects the product costing. So, I want that a plant cannot consume the material produced/procured by another plant unless it is extended & transferred.

Can this be made mandatory thru user exit or...??

Kindly revert back at the earliest.

Regards

Seenu.

    Dear,

Before applying any exit pl check

First if the material is not maintianed in other plant when you enter the material, system will give the error message

    Message no. M3 351.

Are you using STD SAP systsme or any exit you are using

Yes, if it is maintianed, system will issue the material from other plant.

For which what we did is using transaction variant(SHD0) we made the plant as display so that use cannot change the plant..it has to be what they eneterd in MFBF transaction

i hope it will help you
