Logistics handling groups is used to group the material according to their type for example. perishable, glasses, ceramics etc. You will group the materials by specifying the L.Handling group in material master. However This will then be used to split your transfer order based on your handling group too..For example if you have a specialised manpower to handle the tranfer order pertaining to ceramics it can be set according to the Log.Handling group. Your storage bin will be selected based on your regular put away and removal strategies.
