Hi Purav,

I have applied the SP10 for EP 7.0 once.

The steps are the following:

1) Copy the .SCA and .SDA and all deployable files in the patches in the ...D:\usr\sap\ES1\JC01\j2ee\JSPM\epsinbox folder.

2) Start the JSPM from the location ...\usr\sap\ES1\JC01\j2ee\JSPM-->go.bat

JSPM(Java Support Package manager) picks up the files from the epsinbox folder and deployes them.

All support pack provide good guidance on occurrence of an error during deployment.

In some cases u also have to deploy some files individually through SDM.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

Sumit is referring to NW 2004s upgrade.

But you are upgrading to an SP level in NW 04.

Refer the guide link I sent. You have to use SAPCAR tool to extract SAR files.

Hi,

Extract the .sar files using the sapcar.exe (also available on swdc). After extraction, two folders will be generated.

J2EE-RUNT-CD

SAPINST-CD

Run the sapinst present within the SAPINST-CD folder. Choose the option Import support package. You will be prompted to enter parameters for the patching like the usual installation process.
