How to do the plant to plant consignment stock transfer and what will be the movement type.

hello,

its all depend on how ur Fi wants to handle.

if the transfer is on loan basis then u can think of mvt type 301-k(without accounting document) inventory level)

if u want to charge then u can have to go for STO. may b by 351-k

Dear Roddick,

All movement types are same for transfer movement or stock transfer i.e. One step or two step as we do for normal material .Only you have to put special stock indicator K to diffrentiate as consignment material.

For ex :

One step : 301 K

Two step : 303 K ( Issuing plant ) & 305 ( Receiving plant)

use tcode mb1b and there u have the option of sto of consuugnmnt usin 2 step or 1 step procedure

an mention the special stock indicator while doing the stock transfer

USE MOVEMENT TYPE 351 K FOR MOVING CONSIGNMENT STOCK.
